The world's most dangerous couple of cops, Riggs and Murtaugh, is again in action. After getting used to each others ways of working their jobs, these two are now back in the game and are ready for new challenges. Whenever two of them get a new assignment it always turns out to be more than they were expecting. This time is no different. After tracking down some drug dealers and are getting ready to take them down, Riggs and Murtaugh discover that those drug dealers are very well supplied with guns and heavy machinery. After they manage to keep their heads on the shoulders, their captain reassigns them to keep their eyes on a guy named Leo Getz (Joe Pesci), who is one of the main witnesses in a big case. But, it turns out that this guarding isn't as easy as they thought it would be, because there is always someone trying to kill Leo. When they manage to get into a shooting action together, and come back with some back up, they find out that people who were shooting have diplomatic immunity and they can't do a thing to them. This is the time to play dirty, and Riggs and Murtaugh know exactly how.
