What is the movie Lethal Weapon about?
When you mix up crazy action movie with hilarious situations, great friendship between two police officers and kick ass actors doing all the job, you get movie like Lethal Weapon. The story revolves around two characters- Detective Sergeant Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Detective Sergeant Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover). Before, detective sergeant Martin Riggs was serving in Special Forces and was in Vietnam. After his wife died, he is on the constant search for the reasons why not to get killed in action. On the other hand, there is detective sergeant Roger Murtaugh, who is having his own everyday problems. He is fifty, feels useless, must deal with the fact that his baby girl is now old enough and dating.. It all seems like it's slipping out of his hands and he doesn't have the control any more. And in all that, he gets a new, suicidal partner Riggs, with whom he must learn to work. With each of them having their own past, two of them must now find a way to work together. Their cooperation begins as they get assigned the murder case of a young woman called Amanda Hunsaker (Jackie Swanson), which turns to be a lot more than just a murder case. And their adventure begins with a big bang.
