Lies in plain sight is a TV drama that was brought to the audience by Noa Greenberg, who originally did an Israeli film called "Out of sight" and by Teena Booth, who was responsible for doing the teleplay. This captivating movie was directed by Patricia Cardoso. It tells the story of young blond girl called Sophia (Martha Higareda) lives in Boston. As soon as she gets the news that her cousin, Eva, her childhood friend, had committed a suicide, she rushes back home. As she remembers every moment spent with her, the audience gets to see that these two weren't just simple cousins, but each others rock, her support. As Sophia had to deal with her blindness, Eva was the one by her side, not treating her any different than the others. As there is no suicide message, and she sounded pretty normal week before, when she talked to Sophia, no one actually knows why Eva committed suicide. As Sophia gets off the plane, her father, Hector (Martinez) meets her and takes her immediately to Eva's parent's house, who let her stay in for the night. With Ethan (Murray) coming to visit, Sophia gets to meet him, but makes her start wondering about some things that Eva obviously kept a secret. In all of that, Eva's phone rings and Sophia finds out that Eva had an appointment. What was that for? Why didn't she say anything? At that point the mystery starts to unravel.
