A Japanese novel "In Love With The Dead" from Kei Oishi, has inspired Brandan Muldowney to write a screenplay and direct a 97 minutes movie named "Love Etarnal". For everyone who was wondering what is death and what comes after it, this is an interesting drama- mystery that does not give many answers to these questions, but shows how a young man obsessed with death deals with things in his life. The movie is focused on an isolated man who is desperately trying to make sense of the world and who is death- fixated through his existence, especially after finding a body of a hanged teen in the forest. He goes back to his bedroom where his obsession begins to develop. The only way he knows of, that could lead him to solving the mystery of his mind is to get close to death itself. What might well keep the viewer's attention is not the answer to any question asked in the movie or in life in general, but the "What is gonna happen with him?" thought that's always there. Where is it all heading and what is going to happen with him... Pollyanna McIntoch as Naomi Clarke, Amanda Ryan as Tina Shaw, Emma Eliza Regan as Cathy Malone and Robert De Hoog as Ian Harding will show you through their well played roles.
As a death- centered mystery, this movie has a lot to offer in form of a guy distant to people and extremely interested in various patterns.
