When we hear about a dystopian story we usually imagine a frightening and disturbed society, absolute dehumanization, totalitarian regime and environmental disasters. Described in two words it is a cataclysmic decline in society. But you would never expect that society to be that disturbed and have various demos and monsters instead of actual people. That’s the dystopian future of “Manborg” – all sorts of creepy and disgusting creatures have almost terminated the human race and there are very few people fighting for their lost freedom. The main character once was a soldier, but he was killed and eventually brought back as a cyborg. Now his main purpose is to help his new friends – a band of adventurers – and kill as many demos as he can. All in all the movie is a fun mishmash of Mortal Kimbat, Robocop, Star Wars, Sin City, Army of Darkness and some other movies of this kind. Hordes of demos are destroying the remaining human reservations and our heroes are doing their best to prevent it happen.
