I loved the first movie, that is why for me it was difficult to watch the second part and see how “cheap” it is. The actors were performing just like it was the first movie they appeared in. The entire movie is very simple and looks more like it was filmed with a amateour camera, than a professional one. There are good and bad people in the movie, as usually nothing new, simple statistics. This way the cute, kind movie with a happy ending, teaches responsibility and love, which are a sample in the society. I think such a movie is good for children who are not older than ten-twelve, otherwise it will not be interesting to watch this movie at all. Unfortunately it is not the movie that i would wish to ever see again, not my type.

I have no idea what Damian ( the movie producer) was thinking about when he decided to make the second part of the well loved comedy in which the main role was given to a cute puppy Marley. The first movie was a mixture of comedy and drama, and had something in common with the “Beethoven” as it also was showing family life witout any kind of hints on unexpected situations, that is why the “Marley and me” was warmly criticized by everyone, this movie has nothing to do with the first story. Everything changed in “Marley and me 2”, and the most important change was the genre of the movie, as from a drama/comedy, it became a simple comedy, which pointed me that it is a not that qualitative product. There is a big variety of such “funny” scenes and it was difficult for me to find something new and different. I feel sorry for this movie, as i didn’t only not like it, but have also changed my opinion about the previous part of it.

The acting is decent, but if you are expecting a Hollywood star grade acting (which you shouldn't because the film contains no-named actors), you will be frustrated. The story-line is very cute and is sure to sit well with your kids. The movie and audio quality is very good, but you will never find fancy special effects or anything flashy to make it outsatnding. The movie contains a couple of scenes that will be funny and enjoyable to people of any age, but for the most part the film is directed towards children. Overall, this would be a great movie to rent for your kids if you need to keep them occupied for a while, but definitely isn't worth buying!

I can say that I am very disappointed with this movie, the first part of the movie with Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson, was simply amazing as, it had a story, and a good subject that it brought to people, yes I won’t deny that the end of it was very sad, but from the other side we should face it that this is the way life really is, and sometimes no one can really do anything about changing it. This is life. This movie has in the first place changed the genre of the movie, from a romantic drama, to a silly comedy where the main role is performed not by people but by their cute dog. I guess this movie, was filmed not in order to be some good product, but because the movie producer knew the success of the previous part so decided to use it in order to get some more money, I can say that it was a serious mistake by him, and hopefully I am not the only person who thinks this way.
