Meet a nice guy, Chris Wilton (Jonathan Rhys Meyers). He was once a professional tennis player. But, after his career was over, he tried t look for a job as a tennis instructor. He got to meet Tom Hewett (Matthew Goode), whose sister Chloe (Emily Mortimer) soon fell in love with him. Two of them were as happy as none of them dreamed they could be, so they got married. And their lives seem to be perfect and more than that. But, that is until Chris gets to meet Tom's fiancé, Nola (Scarlett Johansson), who is pretty seductive and seems to know what kind of influence she has on men. Unfortunately for both of them, they fall in love with each other, already knowing that it's wrong to deceive their partners and cheating on them, while not being ready to live their lives the way they want to. As their affair goes further and their feelings for each other become greater, Nola is becoming inpatient and starts feeling betrayed because Chris doesn't seem to want to leave his wife for her, but doesn't want to break it off with her either. With Chris juggling between his wife and his lover, tense situations start coming up more and more often than he would want to, but must deal with each of them in order to keep both sides of his life at the same time. Will Nola reveal the whole truth to his wife?
