Because of that, she is perfect choice to act leading role in movie Meet Monica Velour. Monica Velour is former porn star born in ‘70s and had her peek charier in the ‘80s. Kim did outstanding job acting former porn star who now struggles in life like all common people. Other character important for the story is young skinny and geeky guy Tobe. Dustin Ingram plays Tobe. Tobe dreams to meet Monica Velour in real life. He is probably her biggest fan because her career ended decades ago. When he finds out that she has live performance at one gentleman’s club, Tobe goes to the place in order to fulfil his dream. Much different than she was on the movies Monica goes on the stage and local drunk punks don’t get excited. When they start to make fun of her, Tobe start defending worshipped porn star and gets punched couple times. After this event, an odd friendship develops between Monica and Tobe. After stripping many times in front of audience Monica is brutally honest. Geeky Tobe is honest as much as Monica is. This leads to many conversations filled with dark humour. This movie is interesting story about unusual persons that are overlooked in real life.
