Here he is, the man who agency calls whenever they have a mission impossible to deal with- Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). This time, he was interrupted during his vacation and has received an important assignment. His goal is to find and retrieve a deadly genetic disease called "Chimera". There is a small amount of that, but even that amount, mixed with another chemical, can cause worldwide damage. But, what makes his mission really difficult is, that he isn't the only one who is after the "Chimera". There are lots of gangs as well as international thieves wanting to get their hands on the same thing. In all that chaos, one of those gangs is led by a former IMF agent, who already got his hands on chemical called "Bellerophon" and if he manages to steal the "Chimera" as well, two of these can make a mix that will infect the whole world with a deadly disease. So, in order to blend in better, Ethan asks for a favour from a highly trained thief called Nyah (Thandie Newton), who he also falls in love with as well. Now, he must complete his mission but also find the "Bellerophon" in order to save Nyah, who had been infected in the meantime.
