Max is an ordinary pet dog, who lives in the family of a little boy, Jeff Taylor (Billy Unger) and his sister Ashley (Rhiannon Leigh Wryn). Once Max gets in the field of attention of a very talented scientist from the “Envigormax” corporation, the managing director of which intends to create an amazing medicine, and for carrying out the row of experiments they need a dog. By order of ruthless Sirus Caldwell (Zack Ward) a group of mercenaries kidnaps Max and brings him to the corporation laboratory where he is put the injection of the experimental medicine. Literally, in front of the leading specialist and Sirus Caldwell the four-legged experimental turns into a huge shaggy monster, who manages to escape from the researches and comes back home. And though young Taylors recognize Max, they need to do everything possible to return max to the prior appearance and save him from his persecutors…
