The story follows an old Armenian man and his family, who got involved in an American TV show. The whole story begins with this uncle Rafael, who is an Armenian immigrant, and who is taking English lessons, so he could better understand people in his environment in Glendale in California. We get to meet his family, amongst others his son Hamo. They work in a food restaurant. It is by a chance that one young TV producer who is in a search for the next TV show hit. She somehow manages to convince uncle Rafael to be in the pilot of a new reality show. According to the plan, he is supposed to stay at Blair and Jack's house. Then we get to meet Blair and Jack and their kids. They are one really dysfunctional family and it seems like they need to do some bonding. They need someone from the "old world". And that is where uncle Rafael comes on stage. If you like watching comedies, this one is really going to make you laugh even after the movie is over.
