As the title itself says, it's all about being in the presence of famous actress and one of the most seductive women in the world, Marilyn Monroe. Story follows a young man called Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), who is one of the Marilyn's assistant during her film sessions for the movie The Prince and the Showgirl. Marilyn (Michelle Williams) was, at that time in a relationship with director and actor Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh), but had her eyes always roaming around. Marilyn enjoyed in flirting with public, regardless if it were writers for the newspaper, or actors on the set, or even her own assistant. The movie tells the story of time when Colin got to spend a week with Marilyn, being at her service whenever and for whatever she might need. During this week, he gets to meet a real wild child Marilyn, who is ready to sneak out to meet him, kiss him all the time when they are alone, seduce him in more than one way, making him falling more and more in love with her. Throughout the movie, the viewers see how Marilyn was when she wasn't in front of the camera or under the spotlight. She was a diva, an icon, but most of all, she was a wild child in her heart, living the life to its fullest.
