New Year's Eve is an inspiring and mesmerizing movie brought to us by Katherine Fugate, who was the writer and Garry Marshall, the director of the whole creation. This romance comedy follows not only one, but lives of several persons at the day on New Year's Eve. First one is about Kim, who is a single mom, who is a bit overprotective, because her daughter Hailey is growing up and she doesn't seem to be accepting that fact and must deal with her daughter falling in love. Second story follows Claire, who is the responsible one for the whole big event on the Times Square. And when the lights don't work as they are supposed to, she must find the way to talk the fired electrician into helping her with that. Third story revolves around Laura- master chef in kitchen, who is doing the dinner for a big record company and happens to meet her ex, who is a singer. Finally, she can slap him as she always planned to. His apology isn't going to cut it. Next one is about Griffin and Tess, a young couple who are about to have a baby, as her water breaks on the New Year's Eve. And is there any better way than to celebrate New Year other than having a baby in your hands? And finally, there is Ingrid. She has had near death experience and now she has quit her job and decided to live. But, for that, she needs help from someone to fulfil her list of what to do before New Year. This is a pretty funny movie that is relaxing and that will make you laugh. It is suitable for all ages.
