This movie was named the best movie of the year 1935 and got his deserved Oscar award for it! That was exactly the fact that made me watch it! “The night bus” is a very kind comedy about road adventures, about trust and love. as we all will not be able to live without it! there is a huge variety of funny moments in the movie and the performance of the actors is amazing! Same as the great scenario and film directing! It is the classics of the comedy romantic movies, and as soon after watching it you can realize that it was the prototype of the first romantic movies. This movie has shown an example and set a certain standard of quality!
But beside great humor and intelligent irony and perfect scenario, in this movie there is also a interesting plot. I think all the Oscar awards that this movie has won in the old thirties were well deserved and as about me, i can say that i would give it even more awards if possible! I wish there were more movies of this kind filmed in current time.

At the beginning there is a feeling that this movie is too simple but there is a necessity to realize it was made almost a century ago. And Clark Gable, awe Clark Gable! It is not easy for me to rate the performance of this actor because i like him too much, and i would never be able to say even one negative word about him! That is why i will better judge his hero Peter Warn. Peter is not perfect, but he has his own demands towards the girls! He looks arrogant and rude, but it is obvious to me that deep down in his soul he is a romantic person and real gentleman! He has honor and conscience and they are above everything for him! It is hard not to fall in love with this kind of man, that is why i perfectly understand Hellen and the fact why she was not able to deal with her feelings towards him! I think it is one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life! And once again Clark Gable was simply amazing in it, i think his performance in a movie has already become a sort of warranty that this movie is a good one!

I will honestly admit that i felt a bit bored in some moments of the movie. A few times i almost asleep, but there were a few funny moments. Like for example when one of the passengers of the bus is reading a newspaper and decides to earn some money, Peter is making up a story that he was the one who stolen her. The other interesting moment, our heroes in order not to reveal themselves are performing a fight between a husband and wife in front of everyone, and it looked like they were honest.
But in general i can say that this movie is meant for the admirers of the old cinema. It was interesting for me to watch their clothes, haircut, and the manners of that time. Today this movie seems to be a bit simple and naive, but it is a must paying attention upon the age of the movie, because exactly from this kind of bricks were built the subjects of the next more complex movies. As about me i can say that i watched it only due to the fact that the main role in it is performed by Clark Gable, who is my favorite actor.
