What is the movie P.S. I Love You about?
In marriage and in life, couples often have fights and they don't actually mean that two of them don't love each other, but are really stressed out about something. That is the same case with Holly Kennedy (Hilary Swank) and her husband Gerry (Gerard Butler). They are fighting all the time about most of the things- his job, her dreams, them having babies or not, her mother bugging her, his mother not liking her- as she Holly claims, and so on. Short after the movie begins and the audience has the chance to meet the characters, Gerry dies. A tragic event that Holly doesn't know how to deal with. But, as always, he has a plan. After she gets depressed and doesn't leave her place for days, her family tries to cheer her up with a surprise for her birthday, only to find her in total mess. Then, a cake gets delivered with a note from Gerry. At first she is shocked, but after these letters and messages from him keep coming in, she starts to realize that he is helping her get over his death. And each of the notes ended with "p.s. I love you". This romantic story about love even after death is going to take you on an emotional roller coaster and you will surely need a whole box of tissues.
