Director and writer Marcus Markou managed to bring closer misconceptions that average people have about relation between money and happiness. Film starts with overly expensive house and a car that most of people saw only on picture or movie. Owner of the house and the car Harry Papadopulos (Stephen Dillane). Harry started from scratch and made his empire. He had it all, and when he was about to do another average deal, crash of the market happened. This and couple wrong choices placed Harry in position where he doesn’t have anything. His empire and belongings are under the administration. In order to regain what he lost, Harry needs to sell his share of the fish and chips shop that he opened with brother long time ago. From being most successful European man of the year to being a partner in old fish and chip shop is huge blow to Harry. His brother knows that money doesn’t bring happiness. In order to show that to Harry he makes him participated in running the shop. Papadopulos & Sons is good drama that will make you laugh from time to time.
