If you already know the meaning of the word Paradox, you'll guess what this movie is all about. The plot was based on the comic book trilogy that was written by Ruth Fletcher and Christos N. Gage, it was adapted for a movie and directed by Brenton Spencer. The main character in this movie is a guy called Sean Nault, who is a detective in a world that exists on the parallel Earth. Unlike our Earth, that other one is ruled by magic. There is no such thing as science and the magic is the regular way of existing and working. Sean (Kervin Sorbo) is a homicide detective, who is currently working on a case which involves some, for them, strange events. After doing some researching, he gets to the information that there is a whole parallel world like their Earth that is based on totally different premises and has totally different way of life. All the murders seem to be committed with the help of the science, something he had never seen before and hasn't had to deal with. With the help of one really old friend Lenoir and Winston Churchill, who is a 130 year old wizard, he comes to the conclusion that if he doesn't find the way to prevent this from happening, there are forces that might destroy both worlds as they are.
