Whenever someone pawns his items, there is a story behind all of that that usually needs to be told. In this case, when someone pawns an item, there is a whole new story after that, and it's simply hilarious what the director Wayne Kramer and his writer Adam Minarovich came up with. So, if you are up for a 112 minutes of action, crime and lots and lots of comedy all mixed together, "Pawn Shop Chronicles" is going to be on top of your picks. This movie tells not one, but three stories that happen to cross each others paths in one singe pawn shop. One of them is about two high junkies trying to rob their drug dealer, but since one of them pawns a gun for gas money at the beginning of the movie, they have to figure out something else. Another story is about man trying to get his hands on the person that pawned his wifes wedding ring and get his kidnapped wife back, so he walks around and interrogates people with a gunshot in his hands. And the third story includes an Elvis impersonator. The only thing that these events have in common is the pawn shop they all come to.The movie is full of zombie-girls walking half naked, religious symbolism, confusion, and lots and lots of weird moments. And with a casting crew of Elijah Wood, Brendan Fraser, Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, and Ashlee Simpson, this can't be any better that it already is, so prepare yourselves to roll on the floor from laughing.
