There have been plenty of zombie movies during the past few years, and they still seem to be popping out every now and then like fungi after the rain. Re-Kill seems to be a pretty typical zombie movie, it tells a tale of an outbreak which killed 85% of the world's population and made the majority of the towns uninhabitable. War between the living and the reanimated (Re-Ans) wages on and the few cities which have survived are policed by the R-Division of the quasi S.W.A.T. Unit who hunt to re-kill the reanimated ones in hope of stopping a second outbreak. Re-ans are segregated into "zones" policed by the R-Division who have been noticing signs of a second outbreak. One journalist follows them in order to record their actions and the way they fight to keep humanity safe, and only his footage survives. It might seem to be a typical zombie movie, but this one has something in it which makes it at least seem a bit different. It tries to break out of the usual zombie mold and try something a bit different, and it does it pretty well. Fans of zombie movies will love it as well as the fans of horror movies.
