I don't agree with the previous comment as it is not the type of movie for everyone to watch! It is the movie for people who like races and racing,there is no other possible category of people in the world that might like this plot as well, that is why judging about it is not really fair towards the movie or its actors who have done a really great job as they were able to make the picture of first races looking so real. Not a lot of people know that this movie was based on true events of life of the famous Neal Armstrong!

Honestly speaking for me it was quite a difficult movie to watch, because when i was choosing to see it, i thought it would be some sort of thriller movie, and i already got myself prepared for jumping as high as i can from fear, but in reality i got a bad movie for grandma's which looked pretty much like a movie with Lindsay Lohan or Hilary Duff i don't remember for sure which one of them was it, but they have also performed in a silly movie about racing on a old car, and that car by some sort of miracle has won the championship. This movie is of the same kind, but i feel sorry about it, as it has no sense, it is stupid and veeeeery boring, i didn't even watch it till the end that is how boring it was. So my final conclusion is that i suggest this movie only to my worst enemy and to anyone except it.

The music that I've heard from this film IS NOT authentic to the period. That aspect could have been a WHOLE lot better. They mention Emmy and Grammy winning artists and songwriters. I'd like to know who they are and what they've won. What I've heard so far is amateurish.
