What is the movie Red State about?
The three teenagers reply to an internet suggestion for a group sex from a woman on one of the sex sites. Jared, Travis and Billy Ray take a car and travel to meet this woman. However, all their sexy fancies turn into a nightmare. Gaining their consciousness, fellows find themselves hostages at the religious community fanatics. In his yearning to set hundreds of lost souls straight, the local priest considers the shedding of several sinners’ (the main characters) blood justified. In their attempt to escape from the sectarians’ trap, three friends find a room full of weaponry. It becomes clear that this religious community is very aggressive and their aggression, judging from the amount of the ammunition, is capable to turn down thousands of people. However, what is stronger: a religious idea of the preacher or an animal instinct of survival of the four non-guilty young fellows?
