Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1 is the fourth movie about Nuke 'em High and it can stand on par with the first one. Guys and gals at Troma entertainment have done an excellent job with this one, it is a regular tour de force. Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1 follows a young couple of gorgeous girls who are up against the school glee club who have mutated into a ferocious gang known as The Cretins. The movie takes us back to Nuke 'em High, nuclear power plant had been replaced by a food production company which doesn't care about safety regulations and feeds the kids of the school with radioactive food. That same food turns the glee club into a pack of blood thirsty savages who enjoy inflicting pain on others whilst singing. The movie is hilarious even tho it is a horror movie. The actors gave their best and it is obvious that they had plenty of fun during the filming. Clay von Carlowitz did an excellent job at playing a horny teenager named Eugene, there are plenty of scenes where he absolutely outshines everyone and manages to make people laugh. Main actresses are amazing as well, albeit a bit silly. The Cretins are as silly as always but not any less ferocious. Those who watch Troma movies know what to expect, lots of blood, gore, senseless violence and nudity. If you are a Troma fan, you will enjoy this one, if you are new to the Troma movies, this is a nice entry point, just make sure to keep an open mind since the movie is not what one may expect out of a horror movie.
