According to the Evolution Theory we have all derived from apes. This process lasted for hundreds and thousands of years. And we all know that people with Alzheimer's have some sort of a brain damage. What if we could make a cure that doesn't heel the disease, but makes the brain repair itself? After experimenting on chimps, Will Rodman, who is the creator of this kind of cure, gets his hands on a small new born chimp that he calls Caesar and smuggles him out of the lab. His colleague and girlfriend primatologist Caroline Aranha and him did their best to raise Caesar like their own child. As he grew up, they noticed that the cure that Caesar's mother had been getting was implemented in his DNA. But, as they get Caesar taken away from them and put into an animal shelter, he survives a terrible situations as he is not accustomed to being with his own kind and is much more intelligent then them. At one point, Caesar starts fighting for his own kind and manages to steal the same cure he had been subjected to. In that way, Caesar forms a highly intelligent army of apes that are willing to fight against the humans and to fight for their own freedom and their world. And that's how it all begins.
