Ruby Sparks is one of those amazing and cheerful movies that can keep attention of the audience of any age. The plot revolves around a lonely writer, Calvin (Paul Dano), who is an inspiring young genius, who became famous after writing New York Times Best Selling Novel. And since then- nothing. Like all his inspiration went into thin air. Until one night, when he dreamt of his dream girl. And that's when he decided to write about her. He gave her a name- Ruby Sparks, he invented her whole history- where and how she grew up, who she had a crush on, what's her favourite food, colour, novel, what are her interests.. Everything. And it was all typed out on papers. Suddenly, one morning, he found a young redhead girl Ruby Sparks in his kitchen. That is where the comic part of this movie comes in action. She is everything he wrote about. So, he starts thinking that he is going insane and visits a psychologist, but that doesn't help. After trying to figure out where she came from, because she is more than real, he decides to accept the fact that she is there and he is in love with her. As he says: " You may see this and think it's magic. But falling in love is an act of magic." Wonderful Zoe Kazan plays Ruby, the spunky red-headed girl. Teaming up with Paul Dano was the best thing for this movie. They make an amazing acting couple.
