Who doesn't like a good story about a secret agent? About an agent so secret that he or she is right in front of you nose and you still don't notice a thing? Story of Evelyn Salt is just like that. Kurt Wimmer was the writer and Phillip Noyce made it all happen on the screen. It all begins with getting to know Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie), who is a CIA agent and is married. She has a nice simple life. She is one of the best and has one of the highest ranks and respect. Even her boss Ted Winter admires her. At one point, they catch a Russian spy, who appears out of the blue, it seems. During the interrogation he reveals some important informations- he reveals his name (which they check and it doesn't exist), he speaks of program KA12, a program developed by Russians for highly trained assassins. He also reveals that there is an assassin that will kill the President of Russia during his forthcoming to USA to give honour to recently deceased US Vice President. As he tells the name of the killer, Evelyn finds herself in a very bad position, because it's the assassin's name as well. She flees and tries to get away from her men, claiming that someone is setting her up. From that moment on, the action begins and her running doesn't stop. Is she really the assassin? If yes, how didn't they realize that until now?
