Savages is the movie that was based on Don Winslow's novel, adapted to a great movie by Shane Salerno, Don Winslow himself and Oliver Stone, who also directed the movie. The story revolves around two great buddies, former Navy SEAL Chon (Taylor Kitsch) and his botanic friend Ben (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). And they have something in common other than their friendship and business- Ophelia (Blake Lively). She is their lover. And she is with both of them. Since Ben was the top of his class with major classes in botanic and business, him and Chan made an amazing deal with growing the best cannabis in the world. As their business grew, the authorities were satisfied that they didn't have problems like the rest of the drug dealing crews. Until a Mexican Cartel wanted them in their group, and they refused. As she is older in this world and the leader of the Cartel, Elena (Salma Hayek) decides to teach them a lesson and kidnap their weak spot- Ophelia. After receiving a tape that shows Ophelia tortured and tied up to a chair, Chan and Ben decide to ask for the support from their dirty DEA agent and get into a real war with the Cartel.
