After having to spoof all the great action and horror movies of the 90s, here comes another sequel of the Scary Movie which deals with a new age movies- War of the Worlds, Saw, and famous TV shows like Oprah, and there is also some parody made on the way of living of Amish people. So, basically, they have it all covered when it comes to making a parody of all high rated action movies. The story originated from Craig Mazin and the screenplay was done by Pat Proft, Jim Abrahams and Craig Mazin himself. Also this movie was directed by David Zucker, who gave his best to make the vision come true. As always, main characters in this movie are Cindy (Anna Faris) as well as her friend Brenda (Regina Hall). At first, we see that the house Cindy lives in has strange thing going on and she decides to sell it and move. In her new neighbourhood she meets a cute neighbour called Tom (Craig Bierko) and two of them fall in love. In the meantime, the whole world gets attacked by the alien robots called TriPods, and they are destroying the Earth bit by bit. With President Baxter Harris (Leslie Nielsen) as the head of the White House, there is a certain doom with lots of hilarious moments along the way that await the one who is ready to watch this movie.
