Oskar Schindler the main hero of the movie, is handsome, cheeky and very sexy, while his main enemy Amon Ghet is cruel and grumpy as a five years old child. So how can it be this way, i thought that usually heroes are supposed to be even. For me it was easy to understand why the movie has been made in black and white colors, as this way the world has been divided into good things and bad ones. I cannot say that i am a fan of this movie as i think it has been too stretched and in some places it is very “dry”. I think there are movies that are stronger from the emotional point of view, and are showing clearer the situation in the nazy Germany during the war. I first watched this movie when i was at high school, and in that time i felt a lot of anger and empathy towards people who suffered so much. After some time, i grew up a bit, and my views about life have changed as well, and this way i realized that beside a sad story about the Jewish people there were much more aspects in the movie that were not “touched” properly.

I think Schindler’s list is the movie that every person needs to see, in my point of view in order to keep us away from the cruelty and make us a little bit better. I can say that it is hard to watch it. I watched it many times, and when i switch the channels and see it is on, i cannot say i always have the courage to watch it. I need to be prepared in order to watch it. And it is not the kind of movie to which you would ever be prepared. I am used to see violence in movies, but this movie is not that simple, as it was based on true events. During the second World War there was a person who was risking everything in order to save jewish people. I will not retell the subject, or speak about the great performance of the actors. I think it is enough to say that this movie got seven Oscar awards. I advise everyone to watch it, not while netting or eating popcorn, but while sitting and getting concentrated on it, at the beginning it might look boring, as black and white cannot look like fun, without Marylin Monroe in it, but after tolerating it a bit, you will get into the subject and will not wish to switch it off.

I heard many things about this movie, it was filmed a long time ago in 1993, but i got the ability to watch it only this summer, that is why i decided to write my opinion about it as soon as my impressions are still fresh. I can easily say that this movie got a serious place in my heart. And in general lately i watch a lot of movies about war. This movie is very touching and sad, i cried because of it during the entire movie.
This movie says the story how during the second World War a german industrial person Oskar Schindler has saved almost 1200 jewish people. i will not tell too many things about it, because everyone needs to see it! This movie is very strong! I especially remember one moment, the girl in the red coat who was walking alone in the city and the moment when Schindler saw her in a bunch of dead bodies. It was very touching and sad, and also it is sad to admit that this is our history, that it is not a made up plot but the sad reality of life. I recommend this movie to everyone, it is one of the best ones in the entire history of cinema.
