What is the movie Sherlock Holmes about?
One of his most famous lines is "Elementary, my dear Watson." Sherlock Holmes is one of the most brilliant minds of all the times, and he is a private detective. He gets to deal with the cases that no one else can solve. This outstanding and captivating movie about one of the greatest men was based on the book written by Arthur Conan Doyle and it was directed by Guy Ritchie. The story is placed in London during the time of 19th century. The latest success of this famous and outstanding detective is catching one of the most mysterious men in the world of the occult magic Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong). The killer gets put into prison and executed. The problems occur when the whole thing carries on, with every new murder the same as the ones before, Sherlock must again rethink the whole situation and find the real killer. With his loyal sidekick and helper Dr. Watson, Sherlock is on a mission to solve the whole new mystery, which now includes both previous murders as well as the newly occurred situation of the killer that has risen from the dead. With Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Sherlock and Jude Law as his loyal helper, this movie has a lot of action moments as well as lots of humoristic situations.
