Pretending to be someone else has never brought good in any situation. But, in this comedy, it really messes things up and not only for one person. At the beginning of the movie we get to meet gorgeous but not so girly girl called Viola (Amanda Bynes). She is a bit tomboy and doesn't like dressing up like other girls of her age. She loves playing soccer more. But, since her school team is cut, she has no where to go. After getting refused to join the male team, she is more than furious. And she has a twin brother, Sebastian (James Kirk). As he decides to skip his school and go to London for a couple of weeks, she uses that chance for everything she always wanted to do. She disguises herself as her brother and sets off to his school Illyria and makes to the soccer team. But what Viola left out is the possibility that she will maybe fall in love with her roommate, Duke (Channing Tatum), which she does over the course of time. And another thing she didn't count on is that she will be getting in the middle of a whole school love affair and not one love triangle there. And the worst part is when the real Sebastian comes early home and doesn't know that his sister replaced him.
