As that always is in fairy tales, the prince saves the princess from the high tower, where she is locked. Then they get married and live happily ever after. Luckily for you, this is no ordinary fairy tale. Gorgeous princes Fiona, who was cursed and locked in the high tower, was rescued by the ogre named Shrek, whom she married and got on her honeymoon. That is what Prince Charming found out after he got to the tower, all sparkly and fabulous, ready to rescue her and sweep her off her feet. Now, he is on the quest to find her and regain her love. Unfortunately for him, Shrek and Fiona are on their journey to the land Far Far Away, to visit her mother and father, King and Queen of the land. As King had totally different vision for his little girl, he and Shrek aren't actually getting along. And as Prince Charming appears, King uses that to get his girl on his side and get her to leave Shrek for Prince and marry the nicer looking guy. Ultimately, Shrek and Fiona's marriage really does come in danger, but as Fiona discovers that Prince is totally superficial and that his life is run by his mother, the Fairy Godmother.
