Movie Sleepwalk with Me is a winner of Next Audience Award at Sundance Festival. This is at the same time comedy and a drama. The man that is behind this movie is Mike Birbiglia. He wrote a screenplay with his co-workers and directed movie with a help of Seth Barrish. With idea to keep leading role for himself Mike adapted story to suit him the most. This gave great results and award at Sundance Festival. Main character is Matt Pandamiglio who is dealing with more than huge pressure to get married. His sister got engaged and relatives and parents are pressing him a lot. He is next in line. He has an eight years long relationship and wants to be a comedian. He still works as a bartender and he is not married yet. As pressure builds up Matt starts sleepwalking. At first it was funny, but as time went by, sleepwalking became more serious problem. At one point Matt got a suggestion to tell people his real life conversation and to honestly speak about his feelings and life. He took the advice, and at his surprise people laughed. After that he started dealing with thing in his own way. Instead of going to the doctor for sleepwalking problem, he decided to have a dinner. Audience can easily relate to Matt’s problems. It seem to be first world people problems but they are not. Getting married is one of the most important events in any culture. Choosing a life call and making a good carrier is also thing that no one takes lightly. With only one life to live Matt has to make choices and to take couple leaps of fate.
