What is the movie Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi about?
The third installment of the “Star Wars” franchise starts off about a year after the events depicted in “The Empire Strikes Back”. The gang, led by Luke Skywalker, hatches a plan to free Han Solo from imprisonment under crime lord Jabba the Hutt. Han Solo is freed, but princess Leia is now captured, which leads to Luke letting himself get captured as well. After many shenanigans they manage to kill Jabba and Boba Fett. The gang then splits, and Luke visits Yoda on his dying bed who lets him know that the evil Darth Vader is actually Luke’s father, and that princess Leia is his twin sister. Luke must fight his father again in order to defeat the Empire. After the gang finds out that the Empire is building a new Death Star, Han Solo leads a strike team on a mission to destroy it. Luke is captured and brought before Vader who tries to turn him to the dark side of the Force. Luke resists and he and Vader engage in a light saber duel. Luke manages to sever Vader’s hand, upon which Vader’s evil master Emperor Palpatine encourages Luke to embrace his rage and join the dark side, but Luke refuses. He is then tortured by Palpatine. Unable to watch his son suffer, Vader turns back to Anakin Skywalker and kills Palpatine, but also suffers a mortal wound. Rebel Alliance manages to destroy the Death Star and defeat the imperial forces.

The last part of the Star Wars is mostly famous and amazing due to the fact that in it finally would be the battle between two great forces, the dark and the light one. The young Skywalker and the evil Darth Vader. They will start their battle in order to make a general decision who will possess the Galaxy, the light or the darkness. And of course it is not a secret to anyone who will win this battle.
I felt even sad for the fact that it is the last movie.Yes there are three new episodes more, and soon JJ Abrams will film the seventh part, but it will not be the same thing. There will be no Darth Vader in it, as well as there will be no Emperor, so it will be a completely different movie and that trilogy on which i grew up will be left in eighties. Each story has a beginning and has an end, and it should be a beautiful end. I think this story finished very well, (though i feel sorry for Enokin) and epic. The goodness as usually beat the evil, though the evil will return not once in the future.

From the original trilogy i can underline the sixth episode which is a completely different one- it is called “The return of jedi”. In my opinion it is the strongest part from all the six episodes of it. Maybe there are not that many special effects in it like in the third episode, but this is the part that shows sincere feelings - the love of Han Solo towards the Princess, or Luke’s faith in the fact that he will be able to save his father, or the hidden love of Darth Vader towards his son, or the anger and cruelty of the Emperor. The action scenes of course cannot be compared with the modern ones, but look very natural! So if someone hasn’t seen this classics of the genre, than i would suggest to watch it for sure. And i am 99% sure that you will become an admirer of this saga. It is a legendary movie, and i have no words to describe my feelings towards it, i rate it with the highest possible mark! I can say that i even felt sorry for the fact that this saga has ended, i wish there were more episodes of it!

A long time ago, in the far away situated galaxy… I think people who grew up being addicted to the star wars have some special feelings when they hear this phrase, probably they feel a huge quantity of endorphins that is flowing into their brain. Unfortunately i cannot put myself into the row of those lucky people who grew up on the first trilogy, but my attitude towards it was built in those times when on the television were first time shown the first and the second parts. And i am grateful to my fate for those things, because Star Wars in the first place is a saga about feelings: such as friendship, love, stubbornness and being brave.
All of those important things are not the “vanilla” that i can see in crap movies that are being released if not every few days than at least once per week. Star Wars were true and genuine and it deserves being watched at least for the sake of silly funny faces that the main characters do, when they are trying to show tears.
