Lots of people see the dancing as a way of expressing your feelings without any spoken word. And "The Mob" is exactly one of those crews. They roam around the city, you never know if they are there. They just do their thing in the middle of the street. They want to make a statement. They want to be heard. But, that all is nothing until the leader and crew member Sean, played by Ryan Guzman, meets Emily, a daughter of a wealthy businessman, and finds out that he will buy the whole neighbourhood and build a shopping centre in it's place. At the same time, Emily is trying out for the greatest dance company ever, in spite of her fathers wishes to become a lawyer or a doctor and gets in. As she gets to know Sean better, she enters the crew, does a leading role in dance performances in public places. After the crew reveals whose daughter she is, they make an unannounced performance in her fathers gathering and reveal everything, disgracing both him and her in front of very important people. In the end, Sean must again gather his crew and show the man what he will be loosing if he buys and tears down the whole neighbourhood. This drama romance with lots of dancing scenes is one of the many sequels of the "Step up" movies, where it's all about the dance.
