Movies about dancing and movies that involve dancing are never bad. They always manage to get the spirit up and make people want to dance after watching them. This one is no exception. The plot of this movie follows lives of people who are a dancing crew. But unlike the regular dancers, they are a street battle crew. And their goal is to win Street Dance Championships. Carly (Nichola Burley) and Jay (Ukweli Roach) are lead dancers of this crew called Jay-0-2 as well as lovers in private life. Although they are pretty good, there is one crew that keeps on snatching their prize in front of their noses for years- The Surge. At one point, Jay decides to sell himself out and crosses in the other group. And the team is left without a leader. Carly does her best, but without the space for practising, they are facing a serious deadline break for getting ready. Carly makes to get a deal with choreographer Helena, who also happens to be a director of a prestigious ballet school. The crew gets a room for practising and Helena's students get a new experience. It is not long before these two worlds collide and a beautiful mix of dances comes out of this, that will surely get this team a winning trophy at the competition.
