We've all been outcasts at some point in our lives. We all know what it's like to stand out from the group. Sometimes, that's exactly what a person is trying to do, but sometimes a person just doesn't fit in. That is the case with Terri. Terri (Jacob Wysocki) is a 15 year old teen boy who is overweight. Besides being always humiliated and bullied at school, it seems like he had given up on his tries to fit in. And since some time, he had begun coming to school in pyjamas. And that's why he gets sent to principals office. But, unlike any other principal, Mr. Fitgerald (John C Riley) isn't going to criticize him. He was outcast himself and he is there to help every kid that needs help. So, every time he gets sent to principals office, the two of them have a talk and grab a candy. Mr. Fitzgerald is also trying to show Terri that, no one has to remain the same as he was in high school. People change and no one knows in advance how to live his life. Throughout the movie we see that Terri isn't just what people see at school. We get to see part of his private life, situations when he takes care of his old demented granddad and takes walks with him every day. Because of that his social life is a big zero, but, he doesn't care. Terri is the kind of character that brings faith back into humanity and Jacob Wysocki did an amazing job playing such character.
