Have you ever thought about how free we actually are? Do we really have a choice or is it all manipulation by the media and the forces that are more powerful than we can imagine. After a guy gets a glimpse into the future and see what his destiny has prepared for him to be, he decides that he's going to do something else, because he isn't satisfied with the situation he will find himself in. At the point when he is on the verge of becoming one of the elected ones in the U.S. Senate, highly respected politician David Norris (Matt Damon) gets to accidentally meet a gorgeous ballet dancer, Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt), who is doing a contemporary piece. She leaves quite an impression on him, as she is like no woman he has seen until now. They start seeing each other and finally fall in love with each other. And just when you think he has it all and it's all perfect, some mysterious men in suits show up and explain that it doesn't go that way. Soon, David finds out that those men are representing the Fate and that they are from the Adjustment Bureau- a place that deals with "glitches" in the system. They are more than determined not to let David and Elise be together ever again and two of them need to fight against it.
