What does one get when mixing drama, comedy, holidays and black actors with an amazing sense of humor in one place? The answer to that is "The Best Man Holiday". This 123 minutes long comedy will take you on an emotional roller-coaster. To make someone laugh sincere, one has to produce a film based on real life everyday story with a comic twist. And that's exactly what the director Malcolm D. Lee did here. He's the most famous for "The Best Man" and "Undercover Brother". This film explores the situation where old friends from college get together and reunite during the holidays after 15 years. One gets to see just how easy is to get old and forgotten feelings back after seeing your best friends and not only feelings, but rivalries as well. There is a fine line between a character growth and comic situations, which definitely won't leave you indifferent. The main character role of Lance is played by Morris Chestnut, girls are played by Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa, Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long. One of his friends, Harper Stweart, is played by Taye Diggs, who is best known by his roles of Dr. Sam Bennett in tv shows "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice", as well as James Hanson in"Will and Grace", but one of those roles that stand out is his role of Brandt in "Equilibrium".So with a great acting cast like this, you get a top comedy, worth of watching.
