What is the movie The Best Player about?
Quincy Johnson (Jerry Trainor) is a thirty something year old gamer, unemployed, living at his parent’s home in a basement. He is happy with his life, as though he represents nothing special at the day time, but he is a master of video game "Black Hole", known as “Q” on-line. Quincy has dedicated much of his life to become the best player on-line. However, his life drastically changes when he finds out his parents are going to sell their house and move to Florida. Now Quincy is determined to win the video game tournament, get $175,000 as the prize and buy the house from his parents. However, things don’t develop in his favor. While getting ready for the tournament, “Q” meets a very strong rival who he cannot win with the name “Prodigy”. Determined to win the tournament and get the money Quincy with his friend Wendell decide to find prodigy in real life and beat him in order Quincy can have the place to stay. However, things get out of control after they find out Prodigy is a high school girl…
