What do you get when you mix up actors like Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried and Robin Williams? The answer to that is: The Big Wedding. This is a 89 minute comedy with hilarious ideas and situations that will make you laugh on the floor at any moment. The storyline follows a young adopted guy, who is finally getting married. And his birth mother is coming to the wedding, of course. But, there is only one problem- his adoptive parents are divorced, and if his real mother finds out, that would be a great sin. So, he asks his adoptive parents, Don and Ellie, who are played by Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton, to pretend for the weekend that they are still married. In all that chaos, Bebe, who is played by Susan Sarandon, is Dons current girlfriend and she is put to the side for a while, which makes her really upset. The director did a smart move on taking the real life situations- from meeting your birth mother with adoptive parents to walking in on your ex husband and his girl in the kitchen make out action, and giving them a hilarious twist. If you love comedies and you are fan of some of the actors, if not all of them, you'll be thrilled with this movie.
