How to Treat a Celebrity You're Dating

What is the movie The Butler about?
When you have to do your job, not hear anything and not speak anything, in the country that treats your people as dogs, it is very hard to stay in the neutral zone. Cecil Gaines is the main character in the biography drama directed by Lee Daniels. Story follows a young black man in America in the time of 1920s. He was raised on the cotton field and after his father got killed and he became a teenager, he was released from slavery. Since he had no money and place to stay, he started robbing and stealing. After getting caught, he offered his serving skills to the owner of the shop. That was the moment that made Cecil what he was many years later- a great butler. Unfortunately, as he got the job in the White House and settled in in the 1950s, during that time raged Black Power movement and the contra movement of the white people. At one point, Cecil finds himself in the position to choose if he's going to act on his own or not. Director Lee Daniels got the best acting crew to make this historic biography drama as authentic as possible. Amongst the others, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey and John Cusack made with their acting talents on the big screen and sunk into their roles, as if they were really there at that time.
