Five years after he survives and gets off of the prison of a planet called "Pitch Black", Riddick settles on a freezing planet and is tracked down by the ruthless bounty hunters. They are to bring him back to planet called Helion II. After he lets them pick him up and use them as a free ride, he gets first transported to the prison. There he gets to see that a boy called Jack, he had saved before, was actually a girl, and not a little girl any more. Now, Kyra (Alexa Davalos) is as cruel as he is. Riddick, of course, manages to break out of the prison, steals the ship, heads to the planet Helion I and manages to land somehow. After the ship crashes on Helion I, he seeks his old friend Iman (Keith David) in order to get some information and possible revenge, because he thinks that Iman was the one to betray him. But, as Helion I is taken over by a new force called Necromongers, Riddick is to face them as well. He won't bow, and he won't die. That only means fight with both Lord Vaako (Karl Urban) and Dame Vaako (Thandie Newton), who are loyal subordinates to Lord Marshal (Colm Feore). And the whole adventure filled with action begins slowly to develop.
