If you are tired from the whole day and you are in the mood for a drama with romance elements, The Comedian will keep you satisfied. The story is about a young guy, Ed (Edward Hogg), who is a stand up comedian. He has a daily job, he works at a call centre, which can often be pretty frustrating because of all the customers calling about various things, but, it pays the rent. And at night, he likes entertaining people with his jokes and his sense of humour. At one point, Ed finds himself on the crossroads and doesn't know how to change his life for better. His career as a stand up comedian is good as a hobby, but it's not taking off in the way he had hoped it would. So, he starts thinking that he may not be as good comedian as he thought he was. In all this chaos, he meets a young African American artist Nathan (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) and starts developing a deep affection towards him, which turns out to be mutual. And just when he thought he's settled and everything is going to get better, he gets even more confused, when he realizes that he is also attracted to his flatmate Elisa (Elisa Lasowski).
