From the director of Free Willy comes another inspirational story, based on true events. The Cup is movie that follows lives of two brothers, born to compete against each other, without any remorse and regret. Two of the boys, Damien Oliver (Stephen Curry) and his brother, Jason (Daniel MacPherson) were born into the family of jockeys. Their father, Ray Oliver (Andrew Curry) died when the boys were still to young and the only thing they know is that he died in a racing accident. Still, racing was in their blood and they were both very talented. Damien was the lucky one to inherit his father's gift and be even more talented than his brother. And his goal was only to win the prestigious Melbourne Cup. There was never a fight between brothers if one won over the other. They were both happy. But, all of that is about to change as the older brother Jason gets into the same racing accident after switching the horses with his younger brother Damien and ends up in a coma. This crushes the whole family and turn them against each other more than ever. Besides blaming himself, Damien had to put up with other people blaming him, such as Jason's wife. Will he be able to ride once again and win the cup for both his dad and his brother or will he leave that world for good?
