The movie is the third and the last part of Christopher Nolan’s Batman saga. This time Batman must withstand a new enemy – Bane, an incredibly strong and smart villain. Bane was born in a prison were his father was serving his life sentence in the Caribbean Republic – place of fiction. When his father escaped the prison, Bane had to serve his sentence for his father. Thus, Bane’s childish years and early adulthood were spent in a ruthless environment of outlaws. Despite this fact, he was reading many books to be intellectually developed and was body building in the gym of prison, and in order to survive in a merciless prison, he learned how to fight. Very soon he became a ‘king’ of Pena Duro (the name of the prison, translated as “Hard Rock”). In a while a secret drug known as Venom was tested on him by the prison controllers. All other subjects didn’t survive, at first, Bane was about to die, but survived having gained supernatural physical strength. However, to avoid dreadful side effects he needed taking this drug every 12 hours. Some years later, Bane managed to escape the prison and all he thirsts for now is destroying Batman of whom he has heard much when being in Pena Duro. Bane likes Gotham City as the city is ruled by fear as well as the prison he spent all his life in. In the present time, this fear is Batman. Bane is sure that an evil bat from his childhood’s dreams is Batman himself. For sure, in the “Dark Knight Rises” Bane is a main villain, but legendary hero will also face a difficult to catch thief, known as Cat-Woman.
