“Dark Tower” presents a series of seven books, written by Steven King. And only it didn’t get its screen version from the books written by the author during twenty two years. This one is a reply to “Lord of the Rings” by Tolkien. The main character of “Dark Tower” is Roland Deschain, a member of a knight order known as gunslingers. The action takes place on the background of old American West, but with magic and fantasy elements around. Roland is in search of Dark Tower that is fabled to be a magic portal to different universes. Universal has plans to shoot a trilogy on this book; however, since the book was written long ago, and the popularity of the plot and the characters has changed with time, the actuality of the novel screening is still under the question…
