The Depraved or Urban Explorer as the original title reads is a pretty horrific piece that deals with unexplored locations and its explorers. After a group of teenagers finds an underground place in Berlin that hasn't been visited for more than 50 years- Nazi bunkers, they decide to get the grand tour. They hire a tour guide and make sure to get enough of batteries and lights, as well as water and food. But what they didn't expect is for that not to be enough. Because, what they didn't know is that this is one big maze they are getting themselves into. At one point, their guide Kris (Max Riemelt) gets into an accident and dies. This leaves the four teenagers in very unexpected situation and in a scary place. And the terrors are yet to start. This will be a tour they'll never forget, that's for sure. Throughout the film, the audience gets lots of tension from the place alone. It is pretty dark and creepy, and may even cause the feeling of claustrophobia. The idea for this movie was Martin Thau's and the director Andy Fetscher made it all real. This 94 minute long thriller will crawl up you skin and leave there long after the movie is over.
