“The Divide” presents a post-apocalyptic science fiction movie, coming in 2012. After a devastating cataclysmic explosion in New York, eight people find their refuge in the basement of a building, were their apartments are located. This place was designed as a fallout sanctuary by a crackbrain house manager, named Mickey. Their shelter consists of three rooms, but has enough room in it and the stockpiles of water and food are enough to stay safe from the horror that reigns outside. Thus, eight strangers settle down and recollect that their close and beloved people, who are no longer with them, belonging now to the better world. However, their piece of heaven turns into a pure hell when men in HAZMAT uniform capture their refuge and open fire. The survivors withstand HAMAT forces, not understanding what these people want and why they are so brutal. With losses on both sides, HAZMATS are rendered harmless, however, for a while only, as the worst is to come…
