The cartoon The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! moves the boundaries of what is possible to do in a cartoon. This movie is more offensive and bizarre than South Park. Still The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! doesn’t take itself seriously. Because of that people don’t get offended that much. With so many stereotypes and huge amount of information and obscene events, audience is not able to focus on just one thing. Movie is very strange and cleverly made. It is paradox and it criticizes everything and everyone. There is nudity but it is not presented in sexual way. On the other hand, there is sex but without nudity. It is very easy for common spectator to get lost in cynicism and to misunderstand the point of particular scene or event. There is also violence, that is more than extreme but is drawn in a comical way it is not just violence for the cause of violence. Fans of TV show Drawn Together have to be warned, this movie may not be what they are used to watch. After the show got cancelled for being too offensive, this movie was an attempt to put the show back on air. Probably from despair and with fresh audience in mind, The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! is done little bit different than the show. This can disappoint some the existing fans. Still, movie is interesting, different than most of presented things and it is very fun to watch. Just don’t take it too seriously.
