It is a very good movie, i would even say one of the few historical action movies that i have ever seen in my life. It brings a good message to everyone who watches is. It is about friendship, loyalty and honor. I think it is a must to film this kind of movies, as you sit and worry for the heroes, two hours are flying away. It is very easy to watch it! After i watched this movie i had very strong emotions and impression about it, for almost a week. I loved the character young Centurion! His attitude towards honor, and towards his family values! The way how he risked his life, in order to take off the disgrace from himself and from his family! Also i loved how the atmosphere of the ancient times has been revoked. I recommend it to everyone!

Finally i get to see a really beautiful movie, which has sense, although there is a lot of sword fighting in it. Honestly speaking i am not a fan of historical movies, but this one i really did liked a lot. It really deserves the time spent on it. The image is great, beautiful and a bit sad in the end of story. The performance of the acting staff was also very beautiful. Some scenes in the movie reminded me the movie "Gladiator" which is my favorite by the way. This movie held me in captivity from the beginning till the end, i think in some moments i wasn't even breathing )))! I liked it a lot and i advise it to every person who loves history. God, i can only imagine how difficult was the life of the warriors a long time ago. I will not say the plot of the movie, as i am sure it will be not that interesting to watch the movie if i will, but i can surely say it is an awesome one.

I can say for sure that i stay totally overwhelmed after seeing this movie. I would say that it is for the female part mostly! Young, sexy and brutal men are looking for fame and justice, while defending the name of their father who died many years ago, but was the commander of a eleventh legion. This movie is a story about men friendship, honor, and being brave. The plot of the movie is very dynamic, and i could not stop myself from watching the movie. Battles, fights, blood- everything looked so real in the movie, that in some moments i was crying and really worried for the heroes. I could not stop empathizing the main characters. The other nice thing about this movie, is that it's action lies in the period of blooming Roman Emperor, i guess it is the most interesting period of time in history.

This is a great movie for those who can grasp the concept of parable in this movie. Just like the Lord called His disciples “friend,” when He dwelled in the flesh on this earth 2000 years ago, the Roman general called his Britain slave his friend at the end of this movie. If we continue to stay in faith which brings forth faithfulness to our Lord, we will experience true freedom, for we are called friend of God!
